A Hamlet fantasy
The phenomenon of Hamlet and Shakespeare’s text form the basis of this theatre collage for a puppeteer and a musician.
The characters, distorted to grotesque puppets, grub themselves out of the rotten stage. Driven by the sounds of an electric guitar, Claudius and Gertrud, Hamlet and Ophelia, Clown and Actor play their game once more.
Scraps of words and dialogues in English and German mingle with old and new music.
